Daniel Bigbee – President

Daniel Bigbee is the President and Founder of Capability Healthcare. Daniel’s primary focus within Capability is to insure delivery of services to all of our clientele. This promise is built on proven recruiting processes and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Daniel leveraged 19 years of experience in recruiting, sales, customer service and professional development to lay the foundation for a market leader in Healthcare Recruitment. Beyond Healthcare, Daniel owns and operates Capability Homecare which provides caregiving services to Puget Sound seniors.

Prior to launching Capability, Daniel was the Regional Vice President for an international recruiting conglomerate. Daniel spent well over a decade helping the company solidify its dominant market position. Accolades and notable achievements include recognition for top sales performance, development of successful company-wide operational and customer satisfaction processes, management of all training initiatives for 3,000 employees, and diversification of corporate service offerings.

Daniel attended Oklahoma State University, with a focus on finance and economics. Daniel is the Past President of the Starlight Children’s Foundation NW and is currently on the advisory council for the Alzheimers Association. A Puget Sound area resident for more than 13 years, Daniel currently resides in Sammamish, Washington with his wife of 18 years and their two children.

Sarah Cline – Director of Operations

Sarah Cline has worked in recruitment and staffing since 2007. With extensive experience in the Greater Seattle area recruiting and managing recruitment teams for administrative, healthcare, customer service, finance, accounting and recruitment positions, Sarah brings a wealth of local knowledge. Her previous experience includes successfully serving as a Recruitment manager for a national healthcare staffing company. Most recently she managed the contingent labor for a large local healthcare organization.

A Southern California native, Sarah graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Communication and Business Administration. Sarah is a huge Anaheim Angels and Seattle Sounders fan! In her free time she is an avid runner and hiker. Sarah volunteers her time with ‘Girls on the Run’ as a coach and mentor to other coaches. She also loves to travel, spend time with her friends and family, and run with her dog on Greenlake.

Angelina Gibson – Recruitment Manager

Angelina is a graduate of the University of Washington with 7+ years’ experience in Human Resources and Recruiting. Angelina has recruited healthcare professionals in the Pacific Northwest for over 5 years with a national healthcare staffing agency and governmental agency. She has also developed and driven several successful social media marketing campaigns. At her core, Angelina has a passion for helping others and immense gratitude for healthcare professionals. She was born 3 months premature and grew up hearing wonderful stories about the Nurses who supported herself and her family during that time. Ultimately, by helping you, Angelina is indirectly helping the patients and families whose lives you influence every day. She will go above and beyond to insure that you are happy and comfortable with your assignment in Seattle.

Outside of work, Angelina has many interests including: yoga, nutrition, art, travel and youth empowerment. She recently returned from backpacking and obtaining her Yoga Teacher Certification in Central America for 6 months. Angelina is also a professional Henna Artist! As Miss Northwest (2010), Angelina used her platform to advocate for disadvantaged youth; she continues to mentor youth throughout the community.

Shandon Hayes – Direct Placement Manager

Shandon is a Seattle native and joins the Capability Healthcare Team with over 5 years of recruiting and HR operations experience. As our Direct Placement Manager, Shandon is passionate about working with both our clients and our candidates to find the perfect match for long-lasting and fulfilling careers. Before joining us, she recruited for a local e-commerce organization, though she has spent most of her recruiting career filling acute specialty needs at one of the area’s most established multi-campus hospital systems. Prior to making the career change to recruiting she spent 7 years working with an international developmental gymnastics and motor skills program to help them create class and music curriculums for their locations around the world while opening and running one of their local franchises in Issaquah, Washington.

In her free time, you will find Shandon out in the country working in her garden or at the barn and local trails training for equestrian endurance rides. As a huge animal advocate, she is also heavily involved in her local dog club and rescue networks.


Ryan Otto – Staffing Manager

Ryan is a Washington native. He is a graduate of Doane College in Nebraska where he studied Business Administration and also played on the baseball team. Upon graduating he followed his passion of baseball and began coaching and instructing young athletes. Ryan helped manage a baseball instruction facility in Lynnwood, WA for 3 years. Most recently before joining Capability Healthcare, Ryan worked as a Business Analyst for ATG Stores a Lowes Company. At ATG he managed accounts that were on the live website and also helped prospect new manufacturers to partner with. Ryan also spent time with Capability Homecare as a recruiter. He has a strong passion for helping people in any way possible with the education and experience he has gone through.

Outside the office, Ryan enjoys playing golf and running. He is still very involved in the baseball community and serves as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Mariner High School in Everett, WA. He is also an avid fan of all the Seattle sports teams.


Darla Fagan – Clinical Director

Darla Fagan has worked in healthcare for over 30 years. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1998 holding positions as a Staff Nurse, Nurse Manager, Nurse Recruiter, Nurse Recruitment Manager, and Nursing Student Placement Coordinator. She has had the opportunity to work on teams to plan, implement, and open and manage two new nursing units, a hospital and a multidisciplinary primary care clinic. She has planned, developed and implemented programs for the Med/Surg nursing unit to provide Oncology care, Neurospine care, Total Joints care, developed New RN Grad on boarding and Telemetry. On the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit she was responsible for assessing, developing and implementing an education program for improved outcomes and care of the cardiac patient as well as leading her team to become the first Stroke Certified Unit on the Eastside.

Darla’s other responsibilities have included on boarding and integration of new staff members to create a well-functioning, care focused team. She assessed, identified and planned for improved care by developing education plans for her staff. She also was involved in hiring, managing HR issues with corrective action, budget oversight, strategic planning with providers and collaboration with all disciplines to continuously improve patient care.

Darla graduated from Washington State University with her BSN and is continuing her education in Nursing to complete her MSN in Leadership/Management. Darla enjoys photography, gardening, traveling and supporting the local sporting teams-Go Hawks!
